About Us.
International Environmental Diagnostics, Inc. or IED Inc. was founded in 1993 by a group of environmental scientists and trainers. The founder and senior consultant of our company is Herman Sabath, Ph.D. MPH, master of public health and CMC (Certified Microbial Consultant).
Dr. Sabath has over 25 years of experience in the environmental consulting services, specializing in indoor built environments, and problem-buildings. He has conducted hundreds of indoor environmental investigations and training workshops in New York, Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana, New Jersey, Connecticut and overseas in Argentina, Isreal, China, Germany, etc.

In 2001, Dr. Sabath was named Scientific Adviser of the National Environmental Training Institute (http://www.naeti.com/) devoted entirely to building environmental sciences, with focus on indoor microbial contamination (mold, bacteria, virus) indoor environmental quality (indoor air pollutants) treatment and prevention of related sickness, via special courses and certifications. We also provided consulting and training to Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Bronx Lebanon Hospital, New York Medical Center, Real Estate Associations, Pepsi Cola Corporation, Home Inspectors Associations, DOD, Louisiana State University, Global Environmental Corporation, and other consulting companies such as Synathec Inc., IAQ Inc., Applied Technologies, Inc., etc. He served as consultant to several law firms in major mold related law suits as well as in minor litigious cases.
